Zeron 100 set screws (also called grub screws) are super duplex stainless steel headless threaded fasteners (UNS S32760 / Werkstoff 1.4501) with an internal hex socket drive and various engagement-point geometries per DIN 913-916. Used to lock rotating elements (gears, pulleys, couplings, wheels) onto shafts, position adjustment screws, set-and-lock dimensional fixtures, and any application where a protruding bolt head would interfere with rotation or assembly clearance.

The point geometry determines how the screw engages the shaft surface: cup point (DIN 916) bites into the shaft for permanent + slip-resistant location; cone point (DIN 914) seats in a matching detent for high-precision position; dog point (DIN 915) fits into a drilled hole in the shaft for the highest holding power; oval point (DIN 913) for soft shaft surfaces or repeated adjustment; flat point (DIN 913) for hardened shaft surfaces.
