Zeron 100 Keys, UNS S32760 Super Duplex Machine Keys (Parallel, Woodruff, Gib-Head per DIN 6885 / 6888)
Zeron 100 keys are super duplex stainless steel machine keys (UNS S32760 / Werkstoff 1.4501) used to lock rotating elements (gears, pulleys, couplings, impellers) onto shafts. Standard key forms: parallel keys per DIN 6885 / ISO 2491 (rectangular cross-section, the workhorse pattern), Woodruff keys per DIN 6888 (semi-circular profile for tapered shafts), and gib-head keys per DIN 6887 (with a hooked end for removal access).
The corrosion case for super duplex keys: a key in a chloride-bearing environment (seawater pumps, marine winches, FGD damper drives, desalination motor couplings) corrodes at the keyway interface where moisture is trapped between key and shaft. Carbon steel and 304 keys pit and seize within months; 316L keys last longer but still corrode in continuous-immersion service. Zeron 100 keys carry the same PREN ≥ 40 super-duplex envelope as the matching shaft / coupling / impeller, so the keyway interface stays corrosion-stable for the equipment lifetime.
Cross-section 5 × 5 mm (M5 shaft) up to 80 × 50 mm (large-shaft drive keys). Lengths cut-to-shaft per buyer drawing. Stock inventory at high-volume sizes for pump / motor shaft service (8×7, 10×8, 12×8, 16×10, 20×12, 25×14 mm).
