Zeron 100 AFP rings are super duplex stainless steel forged rings (UNS S32760 / Werkstoff 1.4501) per ASTM A473 with anti-friction coating applied to the running / sealing surfaces. Used on slewing-bearing inner / outer races (offshore crane + ROV slewing rings), mechanical seal mating rings (pump shaft seals where the hard-faced seal coating needs a low-distortion super-duplex backing), and large-bore seal rings on repeated-disassembly flanges.
