Zeron 100 SA hex nuts are super duplex stainless steel finished hex nuts (UNS S32760 / Werkstoff 1.4501) per ASME B18.2.2 standard hex pattern (inch) or ISO 4032 (metric), the lighter pattern vs heavy hex. Hot-forged from solution-annealed bar then SA + tapped to class 2B / 6H. Used for general bolting + tie-rod end termination + low-to-moderate load joints. For ANSI flange stud-bolt companions or NORSOK / API high-load joints, specify heavy hex nuts instead, standard hex doesn't have enough thread engagement for full A1082 stud yield.
