Zeron 100 SA heavy hex nuts are super duplex stainless steel heavy hex nuts (UNS S32760 / Werkstoff 1.4501) in the Solution Annealed supply state. SA is the only correct supply state for nuts, nuts are hot-forged from bar (heated to ~1100°C, upset-forged to hex-blank, then drilled and tapped). Cold-work supply states (FG) cannot be used for nuts because the hot-heading cycle would re-anneal them anyway. Specifying "FG heavy hex nut" means SA-condition nut from heat lots cherry-picked for higher-end mechanical envelope, the supply state is still SA.
Used as the standard companion to SA stud bolts on ANSI Class 150-1500 flanges; pair with FG stud bolts on Class 1500-2500 + NORSOK / API 6A high-load joints (the heavy nut pattern handles the SA-vs-FG mismatch through extra thread engagement, see ASME B18.2.4.6M proof-load tables).
